Restylane is a sterile injectable gel which is made of hyaluronic acid, a natural component of your skin. Aging gradually reduces our skin’s reservoir of hyaluronic acid, leading to the characteristic signs of aging. Dr. Vessely can use Restylane to add volume to your skin and soften lines and creases or to enhance your natural features. Restylane is a great filler for lip enhancement and reducing the appearance of vertical lines on the upper lip and lower lips. This quick procedure can be performed in a 30 minute appointment, and the results can last for twelve months or more. Restylane is now available with an anesthetic agent (lidocaine) built in, making your treatment much more comfortable.

Perlane is similar to Restylane, but a little more substantive, and used for deeper creases and areas with larger volume requirements. Dr. Vessely can advise you as to which products and treatment options are best for your individual needs.
